Retro Baby!

Hello, it's new pattern time again! Meet the 'Retro Baby Blanket' crochet pattern. I've been working like a banshee this week on this vibrant little blanket. It was so enjoyable to make and I'm so happy with the result, that I actually want to frame it :)

It's a lovely project to make, ideal for that beginner who is looking for that next step and a bit of a challenge. Here I used 17 colours in total, but the great thing is, the colour choice is up to you, just using two colours would still look amazing. As always, I used Drops Muskat 100% cotton yarn, which does give the blanket a bit of weight and thickness.

You can make the blanket any size you want, with complete instructions and lots of photos included. It's great to make for your new baby or for a gift, or for your home. I'm sooo very tempted to make a extra large one for my settee :)

Tiny D loves it, even Auburn Ari wanted her picture taken with it ♥

You can find the pattern in my shops;

You can also find the Granny Square Baby Blanket in any of my shops
Hope you like it as much as I do. Have a cosy crafty Sunday :)

Ta Ta for now

  1. Hi Amy,

    This looks great - love your colour choices and the stitch pattern is so pretty and contemporary.

    I adore the look of multi-colour pieces like this but I really, really hate all that end weaving! I guess that you could also make this really effectively with a pretty multi-coloured yarn - there seem to be lots of lovely ones about these days :-)
